Streeter began writing songs for pop-R&B sensation Chris Brown shortly thereafter, amassing writing credits on his 2011 album F.A.M.E. Sevyn just dropped the EP/prelude to her debut album today. She went solo in the mid-2000s, and in 2007 she joined the Rich Harrison-led project RichGirl and was given the name “Se7en”. In the early 2000s, Streeter-then known as “Ambee”-was a member of the Chris Stokes-helmed girl group TG4. Born in Haines City, Florida, Amber Denise Streeter had singing in her sights from her earliest days.

Since then-10-year-old Sevyn Streeter appeared on Showtime at the Apollo in 1996, she has made a name for herself as a performer, songwriter and explorer of R&B’s outer limits.
